Rob provides personal and business insurance and financial advice to individuals, families and business owners. Many of his clients are in the rural sector, farmers and businesses servicing the rural community around Canterbury.

Rob is a highly regarded financial adviser with over 20 years’ experience in the financial services sector. He has established a reputation as a hardworking insurance adviser who achieves outstanding results for his clients.
Beginning his financial services career with Concord Financial Services in Christchurch, on moving to Rangiora in 2002 Rob joined Canterbury Financial Services as an equity partner before establishing his own firm At Ease Insurance Ltd in 2010. In early 2023 Rob joined Insure Ltd as a Financial Adviser.

Rob grew up in Tuatapere in Southland and attended Waiau College. On leaving school, he worked in the hospitality sector and is a qualified chef.
Rob’s philosophy is to make insurance simple for his clients – simply to find them the best policies to address their needs, policies that deliver come claim time.

Rob and his partner Lisa have two girls, and live on a lifestyle block in Sefton, north of Rangiora.
Rob enjoys the outdoors when time permits, he enjoys hunting, fishing and diving.
Rob and Lisa are active in their community, Rob has been on the Parent Teacher Association of the Sefton Primary School and helps organise the annual Sefton School tug-of-war event, raising $19,000 in 2019, for the past 10 years.
